Scrapbook Guidelines

The YES Executive Board encourages YES chapters to develop club scrapbooks. The scrapbook is a record of club membership, activities and service. For the past years, the Executive Board has sponsored a scrapbook contest at the State Conference. The host institution will provide judges for the content, organization and creativity of the scrapbooks. This year there will be separate categories for middle and high school clubs.

Sections:

Community Service: activities outside of the school district

  • Pictures of club members volunteering in nursing homes, homeless shelter, etc.
  • Descriptions of volunteer activities including information on purpose and duration of the activity
  • List of the various volunteer activities the club has done over the past year
  • Recognition of volunteer service, i.e., letters, awards, news articles, etc.

School Service: activities within the school district
